Working with the Body's Crystalline Matrix
Articles - Topics covered in The Sage Age
One of the main catalysts that initiated the research that eventually became The Sage Age was understanding the body as a vibrational system. This included the physical body, the subtle energy bodies, and how both of them reacted to internal and external stimulus.
My father’s entire family were professional musicians so, I was exposed to music at a very early age and encouraged to play with sound. By the time I was a teenager I had already become a multi-instrumentalist and composer. Even though I had some success in the music business, gaining international airplay, my true passion for it was always experimenting with sound. Over the last decade, I’ve become increasingly interested in how we interact with sound through our physical and subtle bodies, as well as through our emotions and mental processes.
Currently, I’m working on the final touches of a class that I wrote last year called Acoustics for Intuitives. I hope to broaden the understanding about the physical properties of sound (acoustics) for intuitive practitioners who use it as a tool for healing and manifesting. I also hope to learn how they use sound and what affects they can conjure with it. The reason for my desire to learn from them is because this class is part of a larger research project I’m working on to build sound devices that are specifically tailored to an individual’s physical body. I’m particularly interested in working with the body’s crystalline matrix, which is primarily comprised of bone and connective tissue. There are two articles featured on the Sage Age site that explain this matrix.
I would like to invite those of you who work with the crystalline matrix of the body and/or sound to leave comments here on the blog and share your wisdom.

Article Block Party - Quantum Physics and Einstein
Articles - Topics covered in The Sage Age
Want to know a little bit about what the word quantum really means or why Einstein called the ideas of entanglement and non-locality "spooky action at a distance"? Ever wonder what the "c squared" part of Einstein's famous equation actually represents?
The Sage Age site has some wonderful articles on subjects covered in the book and we're throwing an article block party focusing on related themes. The articles featured in this block party include:
- Quantum - What Does it Mean? ~ follows the word quantum from its inception to how it's used today.
- Non-locality and Entanglement ~ find out why Einstein made such a fuss about these concepts
- Einstein and His Famous Equation ~ Most folks think Relativity was just one big idea. It was actually three separate theories. And what's that "c squared" stuff all about?

Coming To Terms with Light
Articles - Topics covered in The Sage Age
What is light? Intuitives, philosophers, and scientists have been trying to answer that question since antiquity. Intuitives claim that light penetrates each realm of existence and “All That Is”, is made of light. Quantum physics also suggests that the foundation of every physical thing is based on light. While on the surface it seems that scientists and intuitives are on the same page, are they really talking about the same thing?

Affecting Others with Thought Energy
Articles - Topics covered in The Sage Age
Thought energy not only affects our own well-being, it also radiates from us much like a broadcast antenna and affects those around us.
An entire chapter in The Sage Age deals with this subject. The two-part article series is available on the main Sage Age site.
In this second article, we focus on how former NASA scientist and Hands of Light author Barbara Brennan describes the behavior of The Human Energy Field. We'll also look at the work of clairvoyant and Theosophist Annie Besant as well as one of Dr. Emoto's lesser known experiments with rice jars.
How have you experienced someone else's thought energy affecting you?

Are Thoughts Real Things?
Articles - Topics covered in The Sage Age
I've been enjoying a rather spritied discussion on the Shift in Action site, which is hosted by the Institute of Noetic Sciences. (The post is under the title Mind Consciousness Connection). The dialogue is about whether thoughts are real things and whether they actually have any affect on us directly.
An entire chapter in The Sage Age deals with this subject. The first of a two-part article series is available on the main Sage Age site. The first deals with thought-forms from the intuitive perspective. Around the turn of the twentieth century, Annie Besant and Charles W. Leadbeater, both Theosophists and clairvoyants, wrote a small book titled Thought-Forms. In it, they described thought as an “elemental essence." Read more on where this thought-form energy resides and about how it affects us and others.
Do you think thoughts are real things and how do you see them affect yourself and others?

The Body's Quantum Antenna System
Articles - Topics covered in The Sage Age
Quantum theories have been applied to every discipline of the physical sciences because they take into consideration one very important aspect of a system, and that is group cooperation. This is especially important to biology because cells and molecules are not isolated from one another in the body. They act and react together in a way that supports the entire system.

Is the Brain Really Like a Computer or Hologram?
Discover why the brain operates like a computer and a hologram and how that idea is changing to a quantum model.
In modern times, the language used to describe the brain has been based on the current structural or mechanical information processing paradigm of the era. Since the last half of the twentieth century, this dual paradigm has been the computer and the hologram. That way of thinking is quickly evolving to a quantum computer model because it can rapidly process multiple streams of data to be delivered in a parallel fashion. Although it is still a mechanical viewpoint, it is a significant shift in theory.

Light-Emitting Cells Determine Food Quality and Bodily Health
With the recent peanut butter plant salmonella outbreak and FDA practices in question, many folks are turning to a diet of organically grown raw foods.
As early as the 1920s, Russian embryologist, Alexander Gurwitsch found that cells from plants emit a weak glow that he believed promoted cell growth. His research was picked up in the 1970s by German physicist Fritz-Albert Popp, who applied principles from quantum physics to the study. Discover how Popp used bio-photons, which radiate light from the cells of both plants and animals, as indicators of bodily health and the quality of the food we eat.

The Body’s Crystal Matrix - Part Two
The human body is a sophisticated, multi-faceted antenna system comprised of a crystalline matrix that is constantly transmitting and receiving (transceiving) all manner of informed energies. The matrix is mainly comprised of two special types of crystals known as piezo and liquid crystals. In Part One, we covered the function of piezo crystals and how they convert electrical energy into mechanical energy and vice versa, creating piezoelectricity. In Part Two, we will investigate the roll of liquid crystals in the body’s matrix.

What Are All These Fields?
The Zero Point Field, Morphogenic Fields, quantum fields, Jungian fields of collective consciousness—the list goes on. These are some of the names of fields appearing in many popular books that explore the connections between science and intuitive wisdom. In the very broadest sense, all things are of one source. But, to effectively apply our understandings, it is helpful to differentiate one thing from another. Each of these fields is unique in content and behavior, which will be covered here, but first, we’ll want to explore what constitutes a field.

Why Do You Dream Flat Tires?
You may recognize the title of this post as a line from a Joni Mitchell song. I found it so poignant that it has stuck with me from the time I first heard it so many years ago. All of recorded history is replete with the evidence of how the human race has dreamed flat tires by creating models of the physical universe that were later found to be in error. One of the most famous was a model of the Earth as the center of the universe. As a person watches the ever-changing position of the sun and moon across a diurnal cycle and ties that information to the idea that the Earth seems to be still, it is no surprise that the intuitive conclusion would be that the heavens are in motion around one centrally positioned planet.
That may seem like a Dark Ages concept in our modern world, but there are still plenty of current models in use that may not stand the test of scrutiny for much longer. Visit The Sage Age to read the full article and discover how the misuse of models can limit understanding.
