On the Air - Upcoming podcasts and internet radio shows
The Institute of Noetic Sciences has a weekly internet radio program that features illuminaries dedicated to creating a better world. The April line-up includes:
- April 7th - Chip Conley- Author of Peak: How Great Companies Get Their Mojo from Maslow will discuss enlightened entrepreneurship, where the focus is on the growth of employees and customers so that the business generates a better world in addition to a profit.
- April 14th - Hazel Henderson - Reforming the Global Casino
- April 21st - Brian Johnson - Philosopher's Notes

The show airs live on Voice of America at 9am PT and rebroadcasts at 9pm PT every Tuesday.

Just Energy Radio, with host Dr. Rita Louise, features weekly interviews with folks who discuss "Where Science And Spirit Meet". The schedule for April includes:

Thought energy not only affects our own well-being, it also radiates from us much like a broadcast antenna and affects those around us.
An entire chapter in The Sage Age deals with this subject. The two-part article series is available on the main Sage Age site.

Are Thoughts Real Things?

I've been enjoying a rather spritied discussion on the Shift in Action site, which is hosted by the Institute of Noetic Sciences. (The post is under the title Mind Consciousness Connection). The dialogue is about whether thoughts are real things and whether they actually have any affect on us directly.
An entire chapter in The Sage Age deals with this subject. The first of a two-part article series is available on the main Sage Age site. The first deals with thought-forms from the intuitive perspective. Around the turn of the twentieth century, Annie Besant and Charles W. Leadbeater, both Theosophists and clairvoyants, wrote a small book titled Thought-Forms. In it, they described thought as an “elemental essence."
